City Modern Ensemble has been bringing dance to the Roanoke community for almost 20 years now. Below you will find pictures and videos of recent shows and projects that CME has put together.

Dances for Spring April 2022

CME full repertory, plus guest performances by Paige Bauer and The Clues in Dickinson Auditorium. Choreography by Liza Deck, Renae Dower, Tabitha Kirk, Lisa Linger and Christina Peterson. Memorial performance of choreography by Chris Hopson.

The Nutcracker December 2021

CME served as guest artists in Blacksburg, VAperforming a West African dance in the Moss Arts Center, under the guidance of Maguette Camara of the Barnard University and The Ailey Extension.
